  Well I will admit to sitting just to pee, but the only times I can remember doing this, I was too hung over to maintain balance. This is how I justify.

  hey, i`m discussing something with a jw-dork on another forum.

  he`s a complete idiot, he won`t believe that the wts made that ngo-deal with the un, until he sees the actual contract that the wts signed.

  does anyone know if a copy of this contract has leaked out?

  I am a member of that forum and know exactly who the dork is. Why don't you show him the scan of the letter from the WT defending their UN association. If the Society themselves admitted it, why does he need to see the contract? You could probably find the scan at the Freeminds web site.

  The problem with that letter (if it's the one Im thinking of) is that they say something about how apostitates are spreading lies. So even though the WBTS admits it had some type of involvement with the DPI they outright lie about agreeing to uphold the charter of the UN and spread informaiton regarding it's activities.

  how did your jw families appreciate people knocking on your doors on trick or treat night?

  ever answer the door and tell them how pagan they were?

  we had one jw house that used to be totally dark except for the porch light so we could read their sign- we are jw's and do not celebrate halloween.

  And finally, the photo is just awful. Every JW child's highest ambition is to either work in a packing plant or sell magazines door-to-door. The extreme waste of talent boggles my mind. It is not God's desire that everyone reach their highest potential, use all the talent He has provided? Is it not concievable that some of those talents are better used in the regular working world, rather than the Kingdom Hall?

  Not that Im nit picking or any thing like that, but....I was a JW child and I had high ambitions indeed. I certainly didn't want to be a full time minister peddling rags door to door. I think a great many JW children have dreams or ideas of what they want to do with they're life. The problem is that the WBTS imposes they're will on the rank and file thus affecting the choices available for children. I can appreciate the point that your making though.

  Sorry to get off topic. That's the only way that I can contribute to this thread, because as I have mentioned above, I didn't study the literature. Therefore I cannot comment on the material. LOL

  I bought a bible today

  When my buddy bought me my bible I tore through Gen and Exd but when I got to Lev it was like a high speed car crash into a brick wall. I just cant force myself to read it. I have used it for reference a bit though.
